Rabbi Silberstein and his family of 12 managed to escape Chernihiv Ukraine, an eastern Ukrainian city near the Russian border. The city was one of the first to see Russian forces on their way to the capital city of Kyiv and his efforts to save others still trapped behind enemy lines
