Burning of the Chometz

Welcome to our community’s annual burning of the chometz ceremony!

Join us on the morning before Passover for the burning of the chometz ceremony. This tradition involves burning any remaining chometz that has not been disposed of before the holiday.

Not only is this a symbolic and meaningful tradition, but it is also a fun and interactive way to come together as a community. We will gather around the fire, sing traditional Passover songs, and rid ourselves of any last-minute chometz we may still have.

Whether you are a longtime member of our community or a newcomer, we welcome you to join us for this special ceremony. Bring your chometz to the Synagogue, and we will provide the fire and the company.
